633 Loss of Heater O2 (63-EOP-5027) Flashcards
CCR - 1.1.1 - IF outlet temperature on 633F0001 Reactor Feed Heater or 633F0002 Product Fractionator Heater is not responding to changes in Fuel Gas flow or Oxygen concentration is <1.5% O2 as indicated by Outlet Oxygen Analysers (63AI0001 or 63AI0002).
Monitor the appropriate heater for the following:
CCR - A - Very low Oxygen <1.5.% 02, as indicated by Reactor Feed Heater Stack Analyzer (63AI0001), or Product Fractionator Heater Stack Analyzer (63AI0002)
CCR - B - Fuel Gas to heater is increasing and the outlet temperature is decreasing with no change in feed to the heater.
OPER - C - Stack Smoking
OPER - D - Abnormal Noise or Rumbling
CCR - E - Heater coil outlet temperatures are fluctuating with no changes to the other process variables
OPER/CCR - 1.1.2 - IF Emergency Alarm Activates or Oxygen concentration is <1.5% O2, PERFORM the following:
CCR - A - REDUCE Fuel Gas pressure to increase Oxygen concentration > 1.5% O2
CCR - B - TURN OFF Fuel Gas DMC to prevent inappropriate adjustments to the affected heater
OPER/CCR - C - COMPARE Console and outside indications on Damper and Main Stack Damper position from ground level
CCR - D - PLACE appropriate Damper in Manual in current position
