WAPPR - Waiting for Approval
Default status when created through Work Order Tracking, Changes, Releases, and Activities applications.

APPR - Approved
The work plan has been approved and the work can begin. You can report actuals against approved work orders. Certain fields will become read-only, and Material Reservations will be made.

WPCOND - Waiting for Plant Conditions
Work will be performed when the plant’s condition makes the work possible.
For example, if the plant is operating and the work must be performed while the plant is shut down, the work order is waiting on the plant condition.

WSCH - Waiting for Scheduling
Default status for work orders you generate from Preventive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring records. Work order is approved but requires scheduling information before it can begin.

WMATL - Waiting for Material
Status indicates materials must arrive before the work can be performed.

INPRG - In Progress
Default status for work orders you create in Quick Reporting. Also indicates that work is proceeding but has not been completed

COMP - Completed
Status indicates all the physical work has been completed.

CLOSE - Closed
Status finalizes the work order. When you close a work order, Maximo removes inventory reservations for items that were not used on the work order, and makes the work order a historical record.

CAN - Cancelled
Status indicates the work will not be performed. If the work order has already been initiated or actuals have already been reported, you cannot change its status to CAN. If the selected work order had been approved, Maximo removes item reservations from Inventory for the work order, and makes the work order a history record.
Describe the intermediate work order statuses
WPCOND or WSCH
reflect modifications, approvals, and conditions to the work order.
These statuses have the equivalent meaning to Maximo as other statuses. However, to users, they denote changes or approvals.
