What is the Job Plan application used for?

A job plan is detailed description of work that is performed for a work order.

A work order with a job plan with tasks containing job plans (nested Job Plans) creates a hierarchical work order: where the parent work order creates a child work order for each nested job plan there is under the main job plan.
