I’ve just started a novel by a Russian author. It is set in the early 80s and the main character is a very intelligent young woman. It’s really good.

Actually, this one is also good because it contains lots of traditional African stories and poetry that the author heard or read as he grew up.

Well, I have an autobiography by another traveller. He’s Spanish but grew up in Africa in the 50s.

The one I read was actually non-fiction, a diary of a traveller many years ago. But I like lots of things really.
