sexual response cycle
describes the phases of physiological change during sexual activity, which compromises four primary stages:
1) excitement
2) Plateau
3) orgasm
4) resolution
refractory period
a time period during which erection and orgasm are not physically possible
oxytocin
a hormone related to feelings of trust and the desire to be close to someone- post orgasm in females (common) - last up to 5 mins both men + women
sexual oreintation
the consistent preference for sexual relations with members of the opposite sex, same sex, or either sex
