Tennessee Valley Authority

A

MULTI-STATE power generation & flood control.
Exemplifies the regionalism movement championed by Geddes.

First director of the TVA = Draper.

MacKaye = his work in the 1920s created the foundations for the TVA & the Rural Resettlement Program.

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) program was made to support the Tennessee Valley area, by proving flood control, generation of electricity and producing fertilizer.

Associated with Roosevelts NEW DEAL PROGRAM.
