Wrist/Hand Position
A
Weight is through bones of wrists with as neutral a position as possible

Monitor for wrist/hand position
A
Do not break the wrist
Pain
Monitor gripping

Cueing for wrist/hand position
A
Reach out of fingers
Maintain a flat palm and wrist
Work comes from Core not hands, engage from shoulder
Tripod wrist alignment
The hands are “hooks” or “levers”, avoid gripping

Modifications for wrist/hand position
A
Pad under wrist or knuckle
Use fist instead of palm if necessary
Bypass the joint line using straps/Velcro strap
Perform exercise down on elbows if possible
