Cueing for engage core
A
Utilize the HA breath to fire abdominals/TA
Abs “smile” in contraction: the abs flatten and widen
Scoops abs like wind in a sail or ice cream scoop/lengthen the inside of the spine
On exhalation pull abs and pelvic floor muscles in and up under the ribs
Pull abs in like a button into a pillow
The head lifts because the T Point (7th thoracic vertebrae) drops down
