Pilates insists on proper alignment to restore and preserve the natural posture were intended to have - Form/precision/control (F)
Intention and attention are required to focus the mind on all the previous principles - Balance/centering/concentration (B)
Proprioception - the sense the body has about where it’s at in space - Stamina (S)
One of goals of Pilates and exercises are designed to flow into each with minimal downtime - Relaxation (R)
Promoted by the controlled movements and deep breath work along with the stretching - Mind Body Conditioning (M)
Concentration that Pilates requires to focus on what is being done thus connecting the mind to the body - neuro-pathways are formed with practice - Flow (F)
Focus on not only grace and fluidity but also the dynamic movement one into the next
