Virtue ethics asks?
How can i be virtuous/good?
How can i be the most excellent version of myself.
Arete = Excellence
Virtue ethics is holistic
Both actions, intentions and character are taken into account.
Not just actions.
Virtue ethics and developing habits
We have to develop good habits over time by making morally correct choices.
Older people are therefore more virtuous.
Good behaviour becomes embedded in our character.
