what is antheroma formation and what does it effect?
A
- white blood cells and lipid clump togehter under lining of eptihelium
- causing a higher blood pressure due to arteries being narrower becasue of the plaque
-thinner lumen - restircted blood flow
- weakened arteries

what is an aneurysm and what does it effect?
A
- balloon like swelling in the artery
- starts from an antheroma, from weakened arteries
- a hemorage can start due to the bursting of an aneurysm
-high blood pressure can cause the inner layer to be pushed out of elastic layer

what is thrombosis and what does it effect?
A
- formation of a blood clot
- starts from an antheroma
- plaque ruptures walls making them rough and need reparing
-platelets and fibrin go to fix inside of body forming a clot due to blocking blood flow - can cause blockage of artery or causes it to become dislodged

what is a myocardial infraction and what does it effect?
A
-heart attack
- coronary artery that supplies heart with oxygen becomes blocked
-antheroma occurs
-heart muscle doesnt receive enough oxygenated blood
- can be caused by a blood clot
