What is Edema
Swelling
What is Jaundice
Yellowing of the skin due to insufficient liver function.
Define Erythema
Redness
What is palor
White ish skin tone. Can be due to genetics, low sun
What is cyanosis
Blue ish tone of the skin due to lack of oxygen in the blood
Define Tugor
Ridgity of cells or tissue- skin elasticity/ texture
What is P.E.R.R.L.A
Pupils, Equal, Round, Responsive, Light reflex, Accommodation.
Asbestosis
A lung disease caused by breathing in asbestos fibers
Pericarditis
Infection of the sac that covers your heart
Antiembolism Medication
prevents blood clots
AND promotes blood flow
What pitting edema would 8mm be?
4+ pitting edema
What pitting edema would 6mm be?
3+ pitting edema

how do you measure pitting edema?
divide the mm (2,4,6, or 8) by 2 to equal (1+, 2+, 3+, or 4+)
