how does the test stick of the pregnancy test work

the part where you urinate has antibodies stuck to a blue bead .

what happens if you are pregnant
A
the hormone binds to the antibodies. the urine is carried up the stick and gets stuck to the antibodies so the blue beads get stuck and the strip turns blue.

what happens if you are not pregnant
A
urine moves up the stick, but the hormone that confirms your pregnant is not there so the blue beads do not bind with the antibodies on the test strip.
