Limitations of TIC
Will not see through clear glass or plastic
Shinny surfaces will reflect example (glass waxed floors tiled walls some painted and polished surfaces or water on floor)
Not see through water
Are thermal imaging cameras intrinsically safe
No not rated as intrinsically safe
Will radio transmissions interfere with TIC
Radio transmissions May cause TIC to malfunction
Tic shall be checked
After 0900 and 1800 roll calls
After each use
If steam condensation or fogging buildup on screen if tic then
Wipe SCBA face piece
Tic display screen
Camera lens
Tic damaged or broken
Tech services
