The button in center is the power button. The button to the right of the power button is the
Reset button
To silence alarms press button to right
To zero out meter
Get to fresh air
Press and hold reset button for 3 seconds
Press the power button to accept the reset
Malfunctioning meter
Report to hazmat ops meter room
Do not send through bag
One for one
Replacement meter becomes permanent meter
The indoor action level is
10% LEL
Action level for outdoors is
20% LEL
When approaching action levels (10 % indoor ,20% outdoor), what should be done
Ventilation procedures initiated
Notify dispatcher of conditions
Have utility company respond and request ETA
