What must be done to remove the mulitversal from its base
- Lift locking plunger retaining latch
- Pull locking plunger outward
- Lift mulitversal from base
How many members shall be used to remove the mulitversal nozzle from apparatus and lower to ground

When placing the portable ground base into operation how do you know that it’s placed correctly on the floor
Front leg (leg with safety chain ) pointed towards point of operation
The two inlets of the Siamese face directly to the rear in line with front leg
Locking plunger directly in line with front leg
When placing the T handle on the notched stud protruding from the tapered post on the underside of the mount , we know it’s placed correctly on the stud by ensuring
The T handle is up
Max pressure the mulitversal shall be subject to
200 psi
The Multiversal shall not operate above ______gpm using straight steam or fog
800 GPM
In order to avoid going over the 800 GPM with straight stream tips the pressure shall not exceed
1 “1/4 tip no more than 100 psi
1 “1/2 tip no more than 70 psi
2 “ tip no more than 50 psi
After use the portable ground base should be inspected . If the flats on end the spikes exceed this
1/16” in diameter

Notify repairs and transportation unit
Routine Maintenance shall be conducted
Quarterly
In portable position the horizontal rotation is limited too
90 degrees in each direction from straight ahead point
When Multiversal is on truck mount the vertical range of nozzle is
15 degrees below the horizontal to 90 degrees above the horizontal
If necessary to operate the mulitversal below 35 degrees than
- Release safety stop by pulling up the release pin before reaching 35 degrees
When using the portable mount must the safety chain be used
No should be used if it reach substantial object
MUST BE SECURED WITH ROPES TO SUBSTANTIAL OBJECT
In the truck mount horizontal rotation is limited too
180 degrees in any of the 8 different positions
Supplying mulitversal
Has two 3 inch female swivels
The use of two supply lines is recommended
When use two supply lines bring straight back a distance of 15 feet and parallel to each other before making sharp turns or bends in hose
If one supply hose use bring straight back 15 also
If in portable base do not move portable base or 15 feet of hose closet to Multiversal ,unless water shut down
If supply lines are long and communication with ECC difficult insert single gate one length form nozzle
The locking plunger retaining latch is what color
