Rules on Ownership Sales/Transfers?

A
  • Closing pharmacy shall ensure all records are transferred to another licensed pharmacy that agrees to hold records for at least 2 years.
  • Pharmacy shall not execute sale/closing unless there exists an adequate period of time prior to pharmacy’s closing for delivery of the notifications to the PIC, the board, the DEA, and patients. Exception: unforeseeable foreclosure.
