Termes echographique Flashcards
echo
c’est un signale acoustique qu’on enregistre
Echogenic (echogenicite)
ca decrit un organe ou tissue qui est capable de produire des echos en reflectant les beams acoustique
Anechoique
Aucun echos
Ton vessie plein d’urine
le sang
a bile filled gallbladder
Hyperechoic (hyperechoique)
describes images echoes brighter than surrounding tissues or brighter than normal for a specific tissue or organ.
hyper = plus d’echo
Hypoechoic (hypoechoique)
§describes portions of an image that are not as bright as surrounding tissues or less bright than normal .
hypo = moins echo ou moins echogene
Homogenous (homogene)
describes a structure of equal intensity.
A homogenous portion of the image may be anechoic
or hypoechoic .
Heterogenous ( heterogene)
describes tissues or organs structures that have several different echo characteristics.
example of organs that are homogenous ?
liver, spleen or testicle
example d’organes qui sont heterogene
un rein normal est heterogene ,
with several different echos textures
isoechoic (isoechoique)
describes structures of equal echo density.
cysts (kystique)
cysts retain an anechoic center, which indicates the lack of internal echoes even at high instrument setting
Masse solide
Peut etre hypoechoique , hyperechoique ou isoechoique
the mass is well defined,
