Q
What is a stroke?
A
- It is a brain attack where the blood flow in the brain is cut off.
- Though it can cause permanent damage, thankfully, it’s reversible.
- The cause is a blockage in the arteries that supply to brain, resulting with the brain “suffocating” and dying (unless the blood can be restored).
- 20% of strokes are bleeding in the brain (broken blood vessel breaks open).
- Strokes are hereditary, so be on the look out for any previous family health conditions!
