how to treat fracture?
- do not move injured area

- apply splints or braces to injured section
- if there is an open wound, cover it with a bandage or clean cloth.
how to treat a dislocation
to minimize pain, support dislocation in a sling
have a doctor, put the shoulder back into joint.
immobilize the shoulder in a sling for few weeks
begin physical therapy to rehabilitate the injured shoulder
How to treat a strain or sprain?
to reduce swelling, follow RICE pattern (Rest, Ice, compressions, elevate)
for first 48 hours after injury
When pain and swelling have reduced, begin gentle excercise, depending on how severe the injury, physical therapy may be necessary.
