Where it is suspected or has been determined that the atmosphere may be Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health, or where the wearing of the respirator is madated by applicable regulations.

1. The hot zone has been vented and cooled for 24 hours
2. The IC has deemed the wearing of SCBA optional

When the HUD, control console and/or air cylinder gauge of any crew member indicates 1/2 (50%) cylinder of air remaining

Before their low-air alarm (vibroalert) activates at 1/3 (33%) or air remaining in their cylinder

All personnel are responsible to report a low-air warning alarm at the emergency scene to the IC as it may be and indication that ta crew member is in trouble
