1 relative deprivation
2) feeling of deserving better
3) conventional means are useless

Think( focuses on RESOURCES and movement (MOBILIZATION of the camera to different angles )

what is the difference between society and culture?
Culture= ideas, values and rules that guide the way people live (consistently adapting and changing)
Society= the structure that provides organization for people
type of culture that refers to experiences and attitudes in the highest class segments of society
High Culture
Type of culture that refers to values and behaviors that are in line with societal norms
Normative culture
Type of culture that refers to patterns of experiences and attitudes that exhist within mainstream normative society (e.g going to a baseball game, attending a parade)
popular culture
what is the difference between subcultures and microcultures
Subcultures are large enough to support people throughout their life(example: ethnic minority groups, elite upper class)
Microcultures- only effect people for limited period og there life (example: girlscouts)
population falls between micro and macro level
sub culture is an example of this
Meso-Level
type of subculture that strongly disagrees with the main ideas/ values of society
