Decreases resting heart rate, faster recovery rate, maximum cardiac output, size and strength of heart and increases resting stroke volume.

Increases number of capillaries, resting blood pressure drops and increases red blood cells.

Increases lung capacity, increases alveoli and improves strength in diaphragm and intercostal muscles
