PAR-Q
Physical activity readiness question air, a self screening tool to start an exercise or training routine for anyone.
Smart goals
Specific, Measurable, achievable, realistic, time-bound
Parts of warm up
Cardiovascular - gradually increasing intensity
Stretching - static and dynamic for flexibility in muscles
Sports specific - related to sport (and position)
Reasons of warm up
Prepare muscles, joints, mind, ligaments, cardiovascular fittnes and to prevent injury
Cool down
Aim is to gradually get working heart rate to normal heart rate and get rid of lactic acid and prevent pain next day.
Why do we set smart goals?
We set smart goals to help us really achieve what we want to do instead of being unsystematic and unspecific to which direction we are heading.
