In the middle of the body at the back forming the bottom.
Give an example of how gluteals can be used in sporting activities
When pulling your leg back in football or in rugby to kick the ball

They sit deep in the front hip and connect the legs
What is an example of hip flexors being used in sport
When sprinting to become faster you need to drive your knees up using the hip flexors

At the top of each leg at the front, sitting ontop of the femur bone
How is a quadricep used in sport
Could be used to kick someone in kickboxing
Where is the Hamstring found
At the top of each leg at the back, behind the femur bone
What is a use of hamstring in sporting activity
Squatting in olympic weightlifting or jumping up to dunk/layup in basketball
Where is the gastrocnemius found inside the body
At the bottom of each leg above the heel at the back
How is the gastrocnemius muscle used in sports
When tip toeing in ballet or basketball.

Runs down the front of the shin

What is the role of plasma in the blood?
To transport red blood cells and provide oxygen + nutrients to the working muscles
