however, now then, thus etc. This is a word that often introduces a sentence or statement that
is usually a question or an objection that a reader might have at that point. It often goes together with other words that indicate that a (rhetorical) question is being asked. In this case, they are the words སྙམ་ན་ (which means: “if one thinks”) in line fifty-two.
Everything in between འོ་ན་ and སྙམ་ན་ is the question that’s being asked, or that could be asked.
ཐོབ་དགོས་པ་དེ།

Must, needs to be attained. This phrase can be read as ཐོབ་པར་དགོས་པ་དེ་ནི། དགོས་ is an auxiliary verb; the whole phrase is nominalized. Note that we can read a ནི་ after the དེ་
