སྤྱོད་འཇུག་
spyod ‘jug
This is the abbreviated name of a text. It is short for བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་སྤྱོད་་པ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་ meaning, “Entering the Way of the
Bodhisattva”. The author will now quote from this text, to substantiate his point and his explanation, or just to show that the same thing is taught in other texts too.

su dag
This goes together with ན་ཡང་ and the verbs in the next line: “even if someone does (the verbs)”.
འདོད་ཆེན་
‘dod chen
great desire. This is short for འདོད་པ་ཆེན་པོ་. འདོད་པ་ as a noun can mean “desire”.
