- minimal denture base foundation area
- accelerated resorption of lower ridge
why is trauma worse to lower denture with natural upper teeth?
lower denture has small base foundation so force is concentrated in a smaller area
what is the management options when there are issues with lower denture and upper natural teeth?
soft linings
retain roots and provide overdenture
