A
- occurs in adults (after 50, avg is 60; males 2:1)
- 80-90% of kidney tumors
- arises in any part of kidney, most common place at poles

- acquired cystic kidney disease assoc w/ chronic renal insufficiency

A
- Sx (nephrectomy w/ lymph node removal)
- single-agent & combo chemo (limited success)
- immunotherapy
