18.4.3 The recall order should list the groups which are already on duty, and the additional groups being recalled. For example, if groups 1-6 are working and two additional groups are needed, then the recall order should state that groups 1-8 are being recalled. This will include:
- Members on vacation leave will report for duty when recalled

- 6.3 In order to maintain command and control, the Command Chief of the borough/EMS Division Commander subject to recall shall coordinate the deployment of recalled members and avoid assigning members directly from their firehouses/EMS battalions directly to the scene of the incident. Recalled members are to report directly to their assigned/detailed companies.
- 14.1 Members who are subject to the recall order should report immediately to their assigned units unless otherwise instructed in the recall message. Members temporarily detailed to other units which are affected by the transmission of a recall unit, shall report to such detailed units unless otherwise directed. This is to ensure that members have access to their personal protective equipment (PPE).

18.12.1 Upon receipt of a recall signal, all affected units out of quarters, other than units operating at a fire or emergency, shall return to quarters immediately. Relocated units shall be guided by instructions received from dispatchers. EMS units shall remain at their assigned CSL, unless otherwise directed.

- 14.3 Recalled members reporting for duty and finding their unit is not in quarters shall contact their battalion. - 15.3 Upon arrival in the unit, each company officer shall contact the battalion. If no one is available at the battalion, then the officer shall contact the division or borough for further orders. The officer should report his own availability and the availability of any recalled members.
