Extrapyramidal Symptoms (EPS)

  • Acute dystonia – severe muscle spasm on neck, back and face
  • Akathisia – uncontrollable need to be moving
  • Antipsychotic induced Parkinsonism – not distinguished
  • Tardive dyskinesia – involuntary movement of tongue and face
