  • Monitor cardiac and respiratory status
  • Baseline Vitals
  • I&O
  • Underlying problem/preexisting conditions
  • Examine IV sites frequently
  • Remove contact lenses/dark eye protection after eye use
  • Limit use to 3-5 days intranasal
