What is an 11R mask
the normal blue surgical masks
When is an additional 11R mask worn for an AGP
when an FFP3 is being worn for multiple procedures
How do we perform fit check for a FFp3
ensure its nice and tight
check that air is not escaping from edges
What is the sequence for doffing AGP PPE
- Gloves off (outer)
- Clean up THEN remove inner gloves

- Visor
- Cap
- Overshoes
* *HAND HYGIENE** - FPP3 and replace with surgical mask
When removing gloves what technique should be used
pinch technique
What is the pinch technique
- Pinch gloves at the wrist level and don’t touch skin and peel glove on itself making it inside out and hold it in the gloved hand.
- Then with non-gloved hand, put your hand INSIDE the glove touching only your skin of the wrist, remove it by pulling it off and rolling it around the first glove

What are the 6 steps for hand hygiene
- Wet hands with water and apply soap
- palm to palm
- right palm over left and vice versa
- backs of fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked
- rotational rubbing of right thumb clasped in left palm and vice versa
- rotational rubbing backwards and forwards of nail beds and finger tips to left palm and vice versa
Remember to clean the thumbs and wrists
