A
symmetry lips lymph nodes TMJ muscles of mastication

How do we test the TMJ
A
palpate it
look for tenderness and palpate while px opens and closes

How do we test muscles of mastication
A
Palpate masseter and temporalis by palpating when clenching
Can test lateral pterygoid by looking at px opening their mouth while you try to restrict movement

What do we look at in an intra oral examination
A
inner lips buccal mucosa hard palate soft palate saliva tongue (all surfaces) floor of mouth
