A

Protects the attendee holding a confirmed room reservation from being denied accommodations upon arriving and being relocated to another hotel

A

A

A ROB/ROCH is any room that is occupied by an attendee but was not booked through the housing reservation system

Housing Pirates (e.k.a. Poachers)

A

Unauthorized, unaffiliated housing providers that offer rooms at reduced rates to attendees often under the guise of an affiliation with the meeting.

Incentive

A

A concession or reward for booking within the meeting block. Can be monetary, which provides a way for an attendee to measure the value or benefit. Can help persuade attendees not to book outside the block or outside the contracted hotels.
