Treat with anti-anxiety meds and atypical antipsychotics
Paranoid
Involves detachment from social relationships and a restricted range of emotional expression
SIRSAFE: S-Solitary lifestyle; I- Indifferent to praise or criticism; R- Relationships of no interest; S- Sexual experiences not of interest; A- Activities not enjoyed; F- Friends lacking; E- Emotionally cold and detached
Treat with antidepressants and atypical antipsychotics
Schizoid
Marked by social and interpersonal deficits, odd beliefs or magical thinking
Schizotypical
Involves a pattern of disregard for others’ rights, deceitfulness, and impulsivity
Antisocial
Involves instability in relationships, self-image, and emotion, along with a fear of abandonment
Borderline
Characterized by excessive emotionality and attention-seeking behavior
Historionic
Involves grandiosity, a need to be taken care of, leading to submissive and clinging behaviors
Dependent
Characterized by preoccupation with orderliness, perfectionism, and control
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Involves persistent physical symptoms that cause significant distress and impairment
Somatic symptom disorder
The inability to recall important personal information, often related to trauma or stress
Dissociative amnesia
Involves sudden, unexpected travel away from home, accompanied by an inability to recall past events
Dissociative Fugue
Involves the presence of two or more distinct personality states, often as a result of severe trauma
