- Pneumonia d/t penicillin-susceptible strains of Streptococcus pneumoniae
- Prevention of rheumatic fever caused by Streptococcus pyogenes (group A strep)
- Prevention of rheumatic fever recurrence - penicillin V
- Streptococcal endocarditis
- Cellulitis
- Pneumococcal and meningococcal meningitis
- Syphilis - all stages- benzathine penicillin G
- Puerperal infections due to anaerobic streptococci or Streptococcus agalactiae (group B strep)
- Genital clostridial infections
- Cystitis - amoxicillin
- Early- and late-stage Lyme disease - amoxicillin
