Pediatric Bradycardia Flashcards
Pediatric Bradycardia “cardiopulmonary compromise” criteria
Hypotension
Acutely altered mental status
Signs of shock
Pediatric Bradycardia - if cardiopulmonary compromise present next actions
ensure oxygenation and ventilation
if HR <60 with poor perfusion, despite ventilation begin CPR
Pediatric Bradycardia - bradycardia persists after ventilation, oxygenation and CPR
