Prepare OB kit
Assemble BVM
Prepare oxygen
Adjust powered suction to 80 - 100 mmHg
Turn up heat
Have blankets / towels
Have intubation equipment 
Ensure access to French suction catheter

Adult Breech Delivery - Delivery procedure

Answer 2

• Apply supra-pubic pressure
• Allow the baby’s body to deliver spontaneously do not pull on the legs
• Check if the umbilical cord is around the neck
• Turn body to side and gently deliver arms
• After arms are free, rotate baby face down
• When the head is in the birth canal, lift the baby’s legs until the infant’s mouth appears over the perineum
• If the head does not deliver form a “V” on either side of the baby’s mouth and nose to maintain the airway
