Adult Anti-pyretic Therapy - Presents with fever > than 38C and less than 975 mg tylenol within last 4 hours?
975 mg Tylenol PO
If patient has received less than max dose within 4 hours, administer remaining medication to obtain max dose of 975 mg
Adult Anti-pyretic Therapy - Sepsis Criteria
Know or suspected infection + 2 of the following:
Temp > 38C or < 36C
HR > 90
RR > 22

Febrile greater than 38°C
Adult Anti-pyretic Therapy - Tylenol dose
975 mg PO Do not repeat dose
Adult Anti-pyretic Therapy - Tylenol EMS contraindications
Hypersensitivity
Active liver disease/hepatic impairment
