Q

Composite effect

A

Faces are processed as a whole, also reason why it’s difficult to answer;

Are these top halves the same or different.

When slightly off centered, you can easily see, as with upside down pictures. But when it makes a whole face its harder

Remembering faces

A

In an experiment where they had to scan for a subject, the fixaded faces were noticed as well. Even for faces that were glanced over briefly, exept when you turn them upside down.
