Invarience Flashcards

1
Q

Repetition priming

A

Experiment used to understand object recognition. If same stimuli is presented twice, the response is weaker the second time.

Tested using different;
- Retinal image
- Viewpoint
- Object identity
- Object Class

Q

Lateral Occiital, fusiform and frontal gyri

A

Only show repetition priming for physcially identical objects (same retinal image) AKA no invariance

Q

Right anterior and posterior fusiform gyri

A

Show RP for identical objects of different size, but not diff viewpoints. So size invariant coding, not viewpoint invarient
