A

Focused on externally guided action. Stimulus driven eg catching a ball

A

Focused on internally guided action, eg selecting which object to pick up

Population vector

A

Neurons are not very selective, so you need a population coding (vector sum) to tune a movement.

All population vactors provides a cortical representation of movement.
