Tests for color blindness
Lot of them, best known is Ishihara plate (looking for number in dot field)
Anomalous trichromacy
Normal vision except for 1 cone
Red A = Protanomaly
Green A = Deuteranomaly
Blue A = Tritanomaly
Dichromacy
One cone missing
Red = Protanopia (comon)
Green = Deuteranopia (most comon)
Blue = Tritanopia (rare)
Achromatopsia
Total colorblindness, also very unsharp vision, very rare.
Superior color vision
tetrachromacy, an extra A cone. Would allow to see more colours. Very few cases known and cant be tested with normal screen. Controversial.
Blue cone monochramacy
Only the blue conelaso very rare.
