Stage 1 (I)
A
Minimal or no functional impairment, unilateral involvement only
Unilateral features of: tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia

Stage 2 (II)
A
Bilateral involvement; balance not impaired
Bilateral Involvements of: tremor, rigidity or bradykinesia.
(Should not have a history of falls yet)

Stage 3 (III)
A
Mild to moderate disability, loss of righting reflexes

Stage 4 (IV)
A
Moderate to severe disability, balance and stability impairments
(Standing and walking possible only with assistance.)
