A

Researchers must think about the impact that their research may have on people and how they ought to behave so that no harm comes to the subject of the research or society as a whole.
This includes things such as:
-Choice of topic
-Choice of group to study
-Affect on those being studied
-Effect on wider society
-Legality
-Immorality

Theoretical Issues

A

If a sociologist has an interest in a particular theoretical approach then this may well influence their research. Also if they are Positivist or an Interpretivists their approach will be different
