- If the parents have low income they may not be able to afford ro send their children to school meaning they’re more entitled to FSM

What can you summarise about the relationship between Ethnicity and material deprivation from table 2.5.4?
- The higher the income the more likely the student will attain 5 or more GCSEs
- Pakistani have the lowest income meaning they have more of a disadvantage as they’re less likely to be able to afford things like computers / internet access / private tuition
