Clinical Manifestations: Subjective
A
- Extreme muscle weakness
- Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
- Diplopia (double vision)
- Dysarthria (difficulty speaking)
- Dyspnea (SOB)

Clinical Manifestations: Objective
A
- Ptosis of the eyelid
- Dysphonia (weak voice)
- Myasthenic smile (snarling, nasal smile)
- Snarling face
- Strabismus
- Weakness in intercostal muscles resulting in decreasing vital capacity and respiratory failure

Surgical intervention
Can produce antigen-specific immunosuppression
It may take 1yr after the removal before the pt can benefit

- Improving respiratory function
