Posterior aspect of greater trochanter

Lateral rotation of the thigh at the hip
What is the origin of adductor brevis?
- Body of the pubis, inferior to pubic rami
Where does adductor brevis insert?
- Linea aspera of the posterior femur
- Proximal to adductor longus
What is the innervation of adductor brevis?
Obturator nerve (L2-L4)
What is the action of adductor brevis?
Adduction of the thigh
What is the origin of adductor longus?
Pubis
Where does adductor longus insert?
Linea aspera (broadly)

Adductor tubercule on distal and medial side of the femur

Obturator nerve (L2-L4)

- Flexion of the leg at the knee
