Lateral rotation of the thigh at the hip
What is the origin of adductor brevis?
- Body of the pubis, inferior to pubic rami
Where does adductor brevis insert?
- Linea aspera of the posterior femur
- Proximal to adductor longus
What is the innervation of adductor brevis?
Obturator nerve (L2-L4)
What is the action of adductor brevis?
Adduction of the thigh
What is the origin of adductor longus?
Pubis
Where does adductor longus insert?
Linea aspera (broadly)
