A
Preanesthetic medication; sedation; relief of anxiety

Contraindications
A
Hypersensitivity; Acute narrow-angle glaucoma

Administration
A
Adult dose seizure- 2-4 mg IV/IM max dose 8 mg; Adolescents seizure- 0.07 mg/ kg IV/IM, max dose 4 mg; Pediatric seizures- 0.1 mg/kg max 4 mg single dose, may repeat 0.05 mg/kg if needed; Adult pacing- 1-2 mg IV
